Jarrod D. Hildebrant passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at his home, after a brief battle with cancer.
Jarrod was born to John and Barbara Hildebrant on December 30, 1966 in Prosser, WA. Jarrod graduated from Prosser High School in 1985 and made his home in Prosser.
After graduating from Perry Tech with an HVAC degree, Jarrod had a career as a maintenance technician at the Federal Building in Richland
Jarrod loved spending time with his family and friends. You could always find him around the card table for poker on Friday nights and loved being the commissioner of Family Fantasy Football. Jarrod loved to camp, golf, and play cornhole. He was undefeated in trivial pursuit and was known to be knower of random facts.
Jarrod is survived by his son, Chase and daughter-in-law Emily Hildebrant and granddaughter Nyla Hildebrant, He is also survived by siblings Richard (Virginia) Hildebrant, Debbie Hill, Teresa (Francisco) Canchola, Peg (Steve) Hilton, Michael Hildebrant, sister in law Maryann Hildebrant, and Brother In Law Mike Mekis, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jarrod is preceded in death by his parents, John and Barbara Hildebrant, his brothers Thomas and John Hildebrant, sisters Valerie Hildebrant and Jane Mekis, and nephew Nathan Hildebrant.
The family welcomes all to attend and honor Jarrod’s life on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Senior Center in Prosser. Food and refreshments will be provided.
