PAULA JENE MILAND

After an extended illness on Jan. 1, 2026 Paula left us to be in the Comfort Arms of the Lord. Born March 27, 1954 in Wagner, South Dakota to Evelyn and Paul Nagle she was the oldest of four children. As a youth, Paula moved from place to place along the West Coast States while her Dad worked construction. As a teen she lived with her grandparents and attended John Adams High School in Portland, Or. attending school during the day and working at a nursery home after school. When school was completed Paula managed apartment complexes & worked at techtronic before moving to Prosser. where she worked many years as a waitress at the Barn Restaurant, The Blue Goose and for a while at Perfect Printing On July 17, 1993 Paula married Ted Miland where they continued to make their home in Prosser.

Paula's Love and Passion was Gardening her pleasure was putting together hanging baskets and tending 36 different rose bushes, Visiting the Oregon Coast with a must stop at a Moe's, Traveling with her Husband where she was able to visit all 50 States, Washington D.C. and British Columbia, receiving a Christmas Teddy Bear each and every Christmas 33 in total and especially her Love for her kids and grandkids Paula always had a sly wit , one time after celebrating her Husband Teds birthday he asked her if she was going to bake him a cake which she replied "you really want a stupid birthday cake?" so she had him pull into a dairy queen went inside came out with an ice cream cake presented it to him when they got home and on it she had them write "here's your stupid birthday cake"

Paula is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Ted Miland her two children Daughter Trich her husband Keith of Moses Lake, Wa. and Son Patrick of Portland Or., Grandchildren Becca, Sarah, Brittney, Samantha, Christopher Johnathan, Kara, Aries, Hanna, Haley and Christian, Great Grandchildren Bennett, Hazel, Samuel and Cheyenne. Sister Julie and husband Alan, Brother n law Dave of Gresham, Or. Nieces Susan and Stephanie , Nephew Matt, and Long Life Friends Alice & Sam Shinall of Laughlin, NV.

Paula is preceded in death by her Mother Evelyn and Stepfather Clair , two Sisters Peggy and Ginny and her Uncle David.
