Sharon Lee Vaughn Persinger

Sharon gained her wings on 5/11/2025. She was born on June 24th, 1946, to Florence (Fisk) and Clark Vaughn in Murdos South Dakota where she spent her early childhood. She is survived by her sons Johnny (Carrol) Persinger and Corey Persinger. Her Grandkids Scott Persinger, Stacey Madewell, Corey Joe (Maria) Persinger, Kayla Persinger, Johnny Persinger and Sophia DeStefano. Her Great Grandchildren Alyssa, Tatum, Lily, Cameron, Bentley, Miranda, Kevin, Kristian, Avery, Adalee, and Lavelle. Her Brother Jeff and Sisters Joy, Patty and Gloria, as well as her nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents her brothers Dude and Frank and sister Betty.

Sharon was a foster caregiver for special needs kids until she retired. She enjoyed simple things, spending time at the 10-4 café, talking about politics with her sons and just any time spent with family and especially her coffee. She loved going on adventures with her grandkids and great grandchildren. She never complained about anything and loved to help others; she will be remembered for her unconditional love that was never ending no matter what you did. She will be missed deeply and will forever be in our hearts.

Graveside services for Sharon are Saturday at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens cemetery 7800 Van Belle Rd. Sunnyside WA at 9:00 AM
